About The Role
In 2018 we are planning on widening our audience and distribution channels. To do this we need personnel who can help build and execute plans in the following areas:
- marketing, communications and social media
- connecting and distributing retail partners
- coordinating volunteers at our street market stalls
- applying for funding for community projects
- ecommerce development
The exact role you perform will be heavily based on your skills and what you can do for the brand. This is definitely not a glorified coffee maker position; you will be working directly alongside the companies founder (me/Charlie Wright) on a variety of projects, over which you could have a lot of influence.
To begin with internships are unpaid (apart from £10 a day for expenses) but I genuinely want to be able to pay people for what they put in to the work. There is potential for this to become a paid role.
Like every job listing, we are looking for someone who is proactive, works well with other people and passionate about our mission.
There are no specific requirements in terms of skills and experience but the experience in the following areas could help your application:
- working at a socially motivated organization
Job Type: Unpaid internship with potential to progress to more formal role
Time Commitment: At least one day a week (flexible)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: At least 6 weeks (flexible)
Location: Central London (near Liverpool Street). Work could be done remotely, but it is preferred that the candidate is available to be in the office every couple of weeks.
Expenses: £10 per day spent at the office
Please send a CV and a covering letter with a little about what you would like to get from this role and what you can do for Hopeful Traders, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
