JCDecaux, Crowdfunder and Unltd have picked 10 social impact businesses that they are going to help create awareness about their work. That includes yer ol’ pals Hopeful Traders.
Massive out-of-home advertising (billboards, tube ads, bus stops etc) company , JCDecaux will inject a minimum of £15,000 into an awareness campaign across their platforms as well as creative support and media planning if we can raise a matching £15,000 through Crowdfunder‘s platform. They will even kick in the first £2,000 of the Crowdfunder to get us going when we launch on 2ND NOVEMBER.
I want to change the world's approach to social impact by using creativity to unlock the potential of marginalised people. To do this they need to know about our work and our story. This campaign will get us in front of a far larger audience than we have been exposed to before and will give us a valuable injection of public engagement.
Many of you will remember a Kickstarter campaign falling well short of it's target last year. At the time I (founder, Charlie Wright) was struggling with depression and recovering from a nervous breakdown. I wasn't able to run the campaign in the way it needed to be and the cost of it almost ended the whole project. I have learnt a lot from this experience and continue to learn for the good of the Hopeful movement.
Keep up to date with the campaign and get access to early bird rewards by subscribing to Hopeful Notebook. I love writing to you, hopefully you're into it to.
