Hopeful Traders are looking for volunteers to help us run our brand new retail space amongst the bustling markets of Brick Lane in East London.

About Hopeful Traders

Hopeful Traders are a clothing brand and social enterprise that collaborates with people affected by homelessness and mental illness on it’s designs. Sales of the collaborations raise money for the individuals and charities that they choose.

The role

Hopeful Traders have been chosen for the curated shopping space, Rinse Showrooms. Our open fronted store will need some friendly folks to make customers feel welcome and to inform them about the brand’s work. Volunteers will also do some of the standard retail job things like

  • take sales
  • keep the shop looking really bloody great
  • managing cash

We want this to be a social community of volunteers so we will aim to have at least two people working each day in the space.

About you

No previous experience required. We are looking for reliable individuals with an interest in our work and social impact. You should be genuinely motivated by being friendly and chatty with our customers.

Please email with information about you and why you would like to volunteer for us.
